America waits for the second coming

There are rumours on the internet that God, also known as Robbie Fowler, maybe be visiting the United States, and more specifically New England Revolution (managed by ex-Red, Steve Nicol). Well, he wouldn’t be the first to find a peaceful, green pasture to see out the rest of his career, and it may be that after the money and blazing publicity surrounding Beckham’s move to LA Galaxy, Robbie decided to get a big slice of the action. As long as he lays off the big slices of apple pie he should be good for a few seasons.

Enjoy some special moments from his career (shame about the sentimental music and atrocious away strips…): video

  • It looks like ‘God’ will be staying in the heavenly pastures of England for the time being (BBC report) but you all realise that before Fowler, Glenn Hoddle was in fact ‘God’ – before he became a complete idiot that is.

Enjoy some video clips of Hoddle in his prime
