One of our listeners got in contact about the word 'Burek' which is a meat pie in Serbia and other countries in the region and which is used like this: (to) "send the opponent to buy a burek (a piece of meat pie)" and this is used when a player uses some dribbling techniques to beat the opponent and make them look foolish.

BurekWell, we use almost the same phrase but substitute 'burek' or meat pie, for 'bottle of milk' or the local newspaper. So, you might say that 'Messi sent his opponent to buy a bottle of milk from the corner shop' or 'sent them to buy a copy of the Evening Standard (the local newspaper in London)'.

Any other suggestions?

Here's Damian actually eating a burek in Croatia.
