Hi all. I don't understand the following words, so what do they mean? A slap. A pop A dig. 67: Ibe has a slap from 25 yards out wide on the right, but it's miles too high. Goal kick [2-0] 66 - O'Halloran has a pop from distance, but drills it into the ground and a deflection takes it into Castle's grasp. 4-0 39: Ayew has a dig from about 30 yards. It's a daisy- cutter and Adrisan Miguel collects with ease. Asto Villa 0-0 West Ham.
All three of these words refer to a form of shooting. I think all three of these shots could be viewed as rather speculative which is maybe because they are long-range efforts (attempts).
