I heard the phrase ‘good shape’ on the radio commentary. What does 'good shape' mean in football?

I suppose this means the team is in good positions - especially when they don’t have the ball and have to defend.
- West Ham are in a good defensive shape means it will be difficult to break them down.
Another meaning of good shape is when we describe how well a team are playing in general. They don’t seem to have any problems. They are in good shape.
