What does 'to have too much for' mean in soccer?

To have too much for
When one team is stronger than another team we can say that they have too much for them
- Tottenham 'had too much for'Everton last week which shows the difference in quality and level.
- Celtic should win against Rangers - they have too much for their Glasgow rivals,
- Feyenoord will have too much forAjax this weekend (I think they are a better team and therefore should win).
