Day 6 of the 2022 World Cup saw the African champions Senegal win their first match of these finals after defeating Qatar 3-1 – a result that saw the hosts eliminated after only two matches. Not one of the predictors got the three points for a perfect score in that game but four players scored three for correctly predicting that the Netherlands and Ecuador would draw 1-1 – well done to MightyToft, Fitzpab, Neilus and our new leader Aidey who is now five points clear at the top. He’s followed by Neilus on 17, yetanotherone on 16 and 8 other players (including luckyP) on 15 points. Remarkably, no one picked up maximum points from the USA versus England match which finished scoreless. There are four more matches tomorrow: Saudi Arabia taking on Poland, Australia facing Tunisia, France v Denmark and the big game is Mexico play Argentina where a defeat for Messi’s team would see them eliminated from a tournament they were favourites to win. - One point for the right result. For example, if the game between England and Wales finishes 1-1 and you chose a different score but the right result (e.g. 0-0; 2-2 or 3-3) then you will receive 1 point.
- For knock-out games the scores are up to 90 minutes – not extra time.
