Learn English Through Football Podcast: Week 5 – 2020 European Championship Qualifiers: Domestic football takes a break this week but there is lots of international football being played around the world. The 2020 European Championship qualifiers continue, there are also World Cup qualifiers in Asia and in Africa while there are also lots of friendlies taking place. So, on this week’s podcast we review some of the language from the football week, with stories from Somalia, Kosovo, Italy, Paris and Hamburg. We also introduce some football language both in our quiz and football phrase section, including the phrase ”caught napping“.
