Liverpool vs Chelsea

liverpoollogo.jpg

Mourinho has a 100% record against Liverpool: and that includes games at Anfield! Tomorrow has to be different for the Reds. If they can’t beat Chelsea, then they might as well resign themselves to hunting money in the Champions League. they can’t be too conservative and have to attack the Chelsea defence with commitment and pace. The fullbacks should support the wide men, and the team has to believe they can win. Here’s the team to do it –

Reina

Finnan Carragher Hyypia Warnock

Gerrard Guthrie Alonso Riise

Kuyt Bellamy

2-1 to the Reds. What do you think?

  • Pennant to come on in the second half when we’re 2-0 up to tie them down with pace (Gerrad moving back to the cetre). Guthrie was one of the only players to play decently against Arsenal in the league Cup and will be desperate to perform – this could be the challenge. Warnock – scarred? Pick the bike up and get back on it!

    Have faith!

  • No Pennant? Aurelio? Who is Guthrie? Gerrard on the right? Warnock still scarred from the Arsenal debacle?
I think this team is playing into Chelsea’s hands. Their midfield will smother the Reds and eventually pay off in a 2-0 victory.
