  • Real Madrid lose at home to Levante – their 2nd defeat in a row in the League. There is an obvious problem between Capello and the players as Gutti demands a Beckham return to the team. 4th in La Liga yet they are still languagecaster’s favourites to win the Champions League – so far!

  • So you disagree with our readers then! Liverpool and Real Madrid are their favourites.

Who can disagree with the voice of the people!

  • Chelsea and Barcelona are most people’s favourites for the title this season but do not rule out such experienced teams as AC Milan or Real Madrid. Neither of them has performed well domestically – though Madrid are still in with a shout of winning La Liga – but they know what it takes to win this competition with 15 wins between them.

If both these teams get through to the last 8 then anything could happen. Milan should feel confident of defeating Celtic while Real have to overcome their bogey team Bayern in what should be a fascinating match-up of differing styles. I am tipping them both to qualify for the quarter finals and that one (if not both!) will be in the final in May.

    Next games (February 20/21)
    Celtic – Milan
    PSV – Arsenal
    Lille – Man Utd
    Real Madrid – Bayern
    Roma – Lyon
    Barcelona – Liverpool
    Porto – Chelsea
    Inter – Valencia
