Well, Australia against Japan in the quarter finals. I don’t think either team really thought that was going to happen. Have Australia hit form at the right time? I’m not so sure, as their 4-0 victory over Thailand was by all accounts flattering, while Japan’s 4-1 defeat of Vietnam, on the other hand, appears to have been much classier. I don’t think japan will be quite so vulnerable to Australia’s height as Thailand were, and they’ll be desperate to gain some measure of revenge for their defeat at the hands of the socceroos at the last World Cup.
