What is the back stick in football? Is it part of the goal posts?
Yes, we can sometimes hear the phrase 'back stick' which means the far post - the one furthest away from the player crossing the ball.
If a player scores at the back stick it means that they have arrived at the far post to score (maybe unmarked)
