Hi guys! Samir Nasri finishes coolly after some slick passing in the build-up as City take a 1-0 lead against Spurs at White Hart Lane. The defender Kyle appeared to be offside before playing the cross which led to his side's first goal. Aguero completed his hat-trick lifting the ball over the on-rushing Tim Krul. slick passing = ? in the build-up = ? playing the cross =? on-rushing = ? Thanks.

Hi Amadeu!

slick passing = quick, clever passing (think Barcelona 2014-15)
in the build-up = the preparation; play before the goal or action
playing the cross =The use of 'playing' with 'cross' is a little unusual, but the meaning is cross the ball
on-rushing = this describes a defender or defenders coming quickly towards the attacker

Hope that helps!
