Many Tottenham fans have started to use the phrase, 'Doctor Tottenham will see you now' as a response to their team losing to other teams that have not won for a long time. So, for example if a team is on a losing run (or losing streak) and then beats Tottenham we might hear this phrase.

We could also hear this if a striker is out of form and then scores against Tottenham - 'Don't worry, Dr Tottenham will see you' means that this striker will probably score a goal against Spurs.

Recently Spurs played Bournemouth who had not won in 11 games but a last-minute winner meant they finally won a game. The same thing happened against West Ham who won for the first time in 10 matches against Spurs: Dr Tottenham will see you now has happened again...

So, don't worry if your team is not doing well if their next game is against Tottenham as they are 'great' at ending other teams' winless runs!
