What does "blockbuster" mean?

A blockbuster encounter finishes with the points shared.

A blockbuster usually refers to a big film - one that many go to see. In football there are two meanings: a really big game between two powerhouses or a really wonderful (and powerful) shot (as in the first example with Bale).
